(NB: Kwug meetings are every Thursday that Kingsgate Community Centre, 107 Kingsgate Road, NW6 2JH is open; convene in the Small Hall from 3pm and clear the room with cleaning of the kitchen by 5:30pm)

Fri 22nd July, 7pm Screening of The Year of the Beaver and The Lucas [Aerospace Shop Stewards Combine Alternative] Plan,  with discussion and brief talks by Kerria Box (Grunwick 40) and Solfed. at LARC, 62 Fieldgate Street, E1 (nearest tubes Whitechapel, Aldgate East.) Organised by Breaking the Frame, Grunwick 40 and North London Solidarity Federation. FREE/donation. (The Lucas Aerospace Shop Stewards Combine Alternative Plan was devised by workers themselves for going from military production to socially useful production using the same skills, following discussions with Tony Benn at a time when the machinery intensive nature of production was threatening jobs and factory closures.) Refreshments will be available for a donation.
